Pina Colada Bars

1 pkg. coconut cake mix
2 eggs
1/3 C. brown sugar
1/4 C. unsweetened applesauce
1/4 C. pineapple juice
1 tsp. rum extract
1 C. shredded coconut
2/3 C. macadamian nuts, optional

Preheat oven to 375.

Mix well all ingredients. Mixture will be thick.

Spread evenly in a well-greased 13x9" baking dish.

Bake for 24-27 minutes.

Cool and cut

Yield = 24-30 bars
