White Chocolate Macadamian Nut Bars

1 box classic white cake mix
2 eggs, minus 1 yolk
1/4 C. each unsweetened applesauce and milk
1/3 C. brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla nut extract
1 C. white chocolate chips
1 C. macadamian nuts, roughly chopped

Preheat oven to 375.

In large mixing bowl, combine all but final 2 ingredients. Mix well. Stir in the chips and nuts, spread evenly into a greased 13x9" baking dish.

Top with additional white choclate chips, if desired.

Bake for 24-27 minutes. Cool and cut.

Yield = 24 bars


  1. These sound SOOOO good! I can't wait to try them! I have a cookie recipe with white chips and macadamia nuts, but these sound even more decadent.
