Black Walnut Brownies

1 pkg. butter recipe chocolate cake mix
2 eggs
1/4 C. each milk and unsweetened applesauce
1/3 C. brown sugar
1 tsp. black walnut extract
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 C. chopped walnuts


Preheat oven to 375.

Grease a 13x9" baking dish.

Mix well all but nuts. Stir in nuts.

Spread evenly into prepared pan. Top with additional nuts, if desired.

Bake for 24-27 minutes. Cool and cut.

Yield = 24 bars.
